About the Therapist
Arthur de Luis, who graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 1989 and started working in the South Surrey/White Rock area in August. He is a founding member of the Ocean Park Massage Therapy Clinic, which has been in its present location since 1991.
Arthur has a broad-based practice in which he treats all musculoskeletal disorders and injuries. He uses several techniques from various disciplines, including Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, applied somatics, and craniosacral therapy. Arthur’s formal training in craniosacral therapy comes from the Upledger Institute. Still, he has also had many years of informal training through Howard Jones, a noted expert in the field, of whom he was a patient for 16 years.
Arthur feels it is important for his patients to participate in their recovery and dispense therapeutic exercises when appropriate.

About the Therapist
Shauna graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 1999 from the 3,000-hour program. After graduating, she ran Semiahmoo Therapeutic Massage Clinic before joining the RMTs at Ocean Park Massage Therapy Clinic, where she is the owner/operator and full-time Registered Massage Therapist.
Shauna loves her role as an RMT and working with her patients. She enjoys being able to treat, educate, and enhance the well-being of each individual. She believes people need to be active participants in their healthcare. Shauna also provides her patients with various forms of home care, such as stretching and strengthening.
Shauna treats multiple chronic and acute conditions, young and old, and all muscles within our scope. She has had success with muscle energy techniques when they are applied to the pelvis. She has attended conferences and professional development courses to learn the latest techniques to help her patients.
While noted for her deep tissue treatment, Shauna can be very light when needed for craniosacral therapy and manual lymph drainage.
Shauna brings strength, knowledge, and laughter to her table. If she’s not with her family, she is out playing with her horse in her spare time.
